Gah. 16stone 3lbs. All that walking and I still weigh 16 stone 3lbs. Maybe it’s all the extra food I’m eating in between walks. You know, mid-morning snack, lunch, getting-home-from-work snack, dinner, midnight snack, that sort of thing.
Maybe I should get an aerobics dvd and start jumping around the living room on the days when I don’t go for a walk. Maybe I should get my dumbells out of the cupboard and start lifting them again. Maybe this, maybe that. Who knows?
On the plus side, I may not be much lighter, but I feel a bit lighter (if that makes sense). My legs still ache a bit after the walk, and so they should, so maybe I’ve lost a bit of fat and put on a bit of leg muscle. Here’s hoping!
Besides, in the first week of Celebrity Fat Club (yes, the height of intellectual British television!) the 30-stone Andy Fordham only lost half a pound. So there’s hope for me yet (he says, deluding himself once again)

Doh! That’s where they copied it from. They just came out with “celebrity Fit Club” here.
I wonder what other shows we copy?
I wish we could copy “Ab-Fab”. Since we moved almost 2 years ago, this cable company where we live now doesn’t carry the station that used to show it!

The more muscle you have the more calories you burn, little known fact for you there.

Yes, substituting muscle for fat is VERY good. Now, try substituting NO snacks for snacks. Good luck, Daniel.

Hey, Good luck Daniel. FEELING lighter is the first step! Have you ever tried Rebounding? It’s jumping on a little trampoline. I take classes that are a real hoot! But I also own one and have it in my apartment! (Just got to watch out that I don’t cut my head off with the ceiling fan!) Seriously, you put some music on and bounce. It’s great fun and easy on the knees.

You know, I think I might just do that. I’ve got 300 CD’s I hardly ever listen to, and there’s not a lot on TV that I want to watch. So I should put some music on and bounce, step, dance, push, pull, squat, jump, twist, turn and sweat along to it. I won’t even have to wait for it to stop raining!
