Happy new year to everyone
The year end gedocm has just been uploaded with lots of additions and amendments
Thanks to Chris Milton in New Zealand who sent me a rather large pdf file with Beare/Lazerson family on it – although still plodding through it there is now a lot of information on this family now on the online tree – it would be nice if those of you related to this side would have a look at it and let me know if there is anything else that needs adding or amending
Again this year our aim is to fill in as much information as possible for every person on the tree so please check your own individual families and again let me have full information on the following if it is missing (date of birth and where born ie hospital name or home address – barmitzvah/batmitzvah date and where the event took place – date and place of marriage again synagogue or elsewhere – date of death if applicable and where buried) that about sums up all the details that are required
We always need documents as well these can be birth marriage/kettubot death certificates etc – anything else ie naturalization papers or anything along those lines and finally a lot of the pictures we have are now very much out of date and could do with updating – please scan everything at the best resolution as we can sort them out at this end – and send to bryansyl@gmail.com
Thanks need to be given again to those who regularly contribute and to Danny and Simon Freedman who without them this tree would not be possible as they are the behind the scenes men – Hyam Freedman for maintaining our picture section he really has a good eye for detail and ensures that all is of the best quality – Paul Traynor our man in America who is a great help for getting death certificates from there for us and headstone pictures of those family who have passed away and are buried in various cemeteries across the United States - and finally Liz Knopf who is always on hand to help with reseach
I think I’ve covered everything and lets hope that this year our tree will keep growing as it’s a living history for our future generations of where there ancestors came from all those years ago
Hopefully the next update will be towards the middle of the month – if not at the end as usual
